The following regions elected a Regional Representative this year: Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, South and West.
Fifty percent of all active BJCP members live within these four regions. Our electronic voting booth was open during the first two weeks of April. The winners in this year’s elections are:
Mid-Atlantic
Gordon Strong was unopposed and is declared re-elected.
Midwest
Sandy Cockerham was unopposed and is declared re-elected.
South
Phil Farrell was re-elected with 51% of the vote. Turnout was 31% of the region’s active members.
West
Travis Hammond was unopposed and is declared re-elected.
The winners will officially take office 1 June 2017. The election committee thanks Neil Spake and Mike Dixon for showing exceptional initiative and interest in the program. The next regional elections will be held in 2019 for the other three regions.
